Have been through the transition before and after current technology electronics. I accepted a big dose of humility fishing Truman crappie tournaments from 2010 thru 2018. But it made me a better fisherman overall and helped me become acquainted with and become friends with some of the best this area has to offer. If you want one of the best learning experiences there is then it’s something to consider. Not saying it’s for everyone but we tend to rise to the level of the competition, and it “can” be a way to shorten the learning curve. And kudos to those that choose differently or to learn and fish more on their own, that’s fine too. That was the way I approached bass fishing for 30 years, somewhat on my own, knowing what I do now wish I might have looked at it differently.
Ah hah! Well I spose thats why I never put in there either.Sent from my SM-G960U using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
Whether crappie or bass tourneys, very few people actually make money. There are some serious sticks that can make some $$$, but very few. Most tourneys you best be in the top 3 to break even or better.
Livescope has changed people's style of fishing as well as their attitudes

Cordless Bubba Blade with Mister Twister blades in it. Best I have ever used. I had just as soon use a chainsaw as the blades that come with the Bubba.
Tell'em I'll be there.
I fished truman lots few years back, I was alone a lot but also got to fish with some good truman fishermen, their advice was to fish the hard woods, stumps, and If I seen a boat fishing a spot, their was probably a reason, remember the spot for later. but mostly I just doodled around and hit tree to tree always seemed to do well, so wishing you all the luck in the world and just go fish and enjoy the lake, when you figure it out you will know it's time.
