    Most of the time the wind dies down pretty good to where you can drift or put the trolling motor on very low and basically stay in one spot. If you have spot lock that would be the way to go or you can anchor. Any docks that have brush you can just slow troll around them. Once crappie get around the light they will suspend outside the brush....I hardly ever fish deep enough to get hung up. It's really not any different than rigging but I just use two poles. You also need some buddies that own condos bc those can be killer.

    Man do I second the condos being killer. We have a couple in my cove where we know some people. They are amazing in the heat of summer and into early Fall. Last year in the second week of September me and 6 buddies caught around 200 in 2-3 days on those condo docks. Sitting in about 30-40 feet of water suspended down 12-15 feet deep.
