MTL. 4/21
First off we did not catch a single fish.
Arrived at 107 ramp. It was loaded. We forgot our life vests. The wind was ferocious and just beat us to death. Had to go slow because of choppy water. The best thing of the trip except spending
time with the warden was we bought gas for $1.32 a gallon. It was a fun trip seeing that it was my first trip on my boat in over a year. Can’t wait to do it all over again.

Went to the river yesterday and forgot the key for the motor. DUH. After having our vacant house broken into hubby removed key from boat and keys from lawnmowers. Put them in secure spot. Good thing I had the spare key in my stuff I take all the time. Gonna get a couple more keys made and put in tackle box.

Hey you and your wife made it back to the ramp safely and you didn't hurt yourself so I'd call that a good day. MTL can be a real bear when the wind is howling and the white caps are going. At least the warden let you out of the house and even went along to supervise your furlough.
