    Years ago, before all of the fancy brand name long handle bets came out, we would buy a cheap landing net, take the handle off, and put a frog gigging pole on it. Worked great

    Outlaw Landing Net. 6-12' extension. I have 14'rods, started with 12. I have fished with 16, but my opinion too long and hard to handle. Although, the farther your bait is from boat/ trolling motor the better
