    Default Vacation 7/9-7/11

Planning on taking a vacation to Osage beach on the dates above for vacation. It will be me and my ole lady we will be planning on fishing and enjoying the lake during the day and going out at night. I am looking for recommendations on:

    Places to stay
Things to see on the lake during the day
Places to eat and hangout at night

    Thanks.

Plan on fishing EARLY and getting off the water by 10 am or you will get beat to death!

Im sure everyone will say the same thing, but for that part of the lake fishing will probably be limited to week days only and even then will have to be before noon. I'm guessing crank baits will be the best option. Mike Baker has a couple videos on YouTube about crankbaiting lake of the ozarks.
As far as places to hang out, all of the lakeside restaurants are pretty fun. Dog days, backwater Jack's, red heads etc all have pools and descent food. There's also several good places off the water to eat at as well.

Those dates fall right through the middle of the week fortunately. I’ll be taking my 20’ center console war eagle so I’ll be able to cover some water if need be. I just don’t have a clue where to start as far as fishing spots go

Crankbaits along bluffs and deeper coves would be my guess.

I grew up at lota, had 2 houses on the 47 mile marker. Since your trailering I would suggest to put in near the state park. I've always heard that bit of the lake isnt ruined yet.
We always liked El Jimador to eat.
