    Default When do walleye typically start piling up below the dam at Truman?


    Years ago we used to go down and cast for walleye with twist tail grubs below the damn but it's been probably 25 years since I've done it. I was thinking mid March? Or maybe into April. I can't remember

    Catching a few males now, the females should be up in a few weeks depending on current and water temperature. I think they spawn around 42 degree water temp.
