Good to hear a Truman report.
For any wondering, Truman is producing right now. I got out yesterday around 10:30am for some spider rigging. I put in at Bucksaw where I found no ice on the main lake, but some pockets had skim ice. Fish weren't showing on my Garmins, but I knew they were there. Feeder creek, 16-24 FOW, 6' deep is what I was running. Minnows worked best, but I also caught bigger fish on black and chartreuse baby shad tipped with crappie nibbles. Had my limit in just a few hours. No pictures since I don't have my phone handy, but I did manage a few fish over 1.5 lbs with my biggest at 1.9 lbs. I expect the warmer temps this weekend will bring more people to the lake to shake their cabin fever! Go Chiefs!

G3 just posted a great video of Jeff faukenberry and he out from bucksaw on Truman on main board. WTG sounds like you had terrific day
Funny enough, I watched that video last night. I actually ran into Jeff the day I went out. They really were biting just like Jeff was talking about in the video. Unreal fishing for anytime of the year, but well worth braving the weather in the winter when it's like this. I fished all weekend and ended up with a 2.3 lber and a black nose crappie. All went back into the lake. It was a great weekend!
tyfo...thanks for the posts...appreciate it.
