ive never been but a buddy went a couple years ago and has been trying to get a couple guys together to go back. maybe sometime this year.
Grenada Lake Charters several packages, from first class full inclusive down. Its where the local guides go when they go down there.
You will be fine then.

We use to live in Northeast Arkansas for several years and fished the big four on a regular basis. I echo what spec said about the ramps, pay close attention to the wind, and let the wind direction dictate where you put in. also, you will get checked by game wardens and if fish are close toss them back. We quit fishing those lakes given the large crowds. The last time we were at Sardis - ten years ago - we were at Holiday Lodge at daylight and there were 18 rigs in the line to launch. However I get it, If you want to catch big stringers, you have to go where they live. We have stayed at all of the local motels and we liked the Day Inn in Batesville Ms. I would caution you about locking and securing everything in your boat at most of the motels. Have a good trip and catch a big one.
