I have never been on a Walleye fishing trip,never..so I book wife and I a package deal on Lake of the Woods in minnesota right on the candian border.(could have throwed a quarter and hit canada) this was a 3 night 2 day guided fishing fishing trip fishing out of a charter boat 26' deep sucker...they told me they keep us out 9 hours........7 hours longer than I need to get a limit on Truman of nice Crappie.....what they didn't tell me that we would be standing almost all the time, well that went over like a far....t in a whirlwind, these old 73 year old legs don't like that much, we even canceled fishing the second day and went sight seeing ,we get home and I said no more of this so went looking on u tube and found this guy named Greg Fenn who uses a nice pontoon and it had nice seats on it, ah now this is more like it,so booked a trip in early October with him and he had a nice cottage we stayed in for $65 a night, had a great time would recommend him to anyone, we would of had our limit of 50 but his trolling motor battery gave out at 11 am...Sam Rayburn has a 10" min so the 45 we kept were really nice and only 3 white crappie the rest were blacks, fat & sassy. We are planning on going again in the fall 2020 if not sooner, kinda liked him cleaning them.......could tell more but ain't got the time just heard they were biting close to cove, take care gotta go.......
