We had a crap load of rain in a hurry last night around Truman, watch out for floating logs, I probably would fish the lower end.
Hi Folks,
Headed down to Truman in the morning, taking my dad out. We did well a couple weeks ago off main lake point standing timber in 12-16 ft off minnows. Planned to try that again, maybe bluff points in 20 ft or so, and bridge pillars, try to get him on fish. Any advice would be appreciated. Expect a report after we get off the water. Thanks

Ended up fishing just above the dam. Caught 60 or so white bass and 15 crappie on 1/4oz spoons. Whites were all small, Crappie weren’t much better. Had a hard time finding crappie in structure today, they seemed to be much more sporadic crappie we did cat h on minnows were a super light bite.

That's enough for a fish fry. With all the rain Truman received you and your Dad did good.
