I finally took a day off from work. So Friday and today I went to some old spots I had not fished in years. Got limits of petty good quality black crappie mostly with a few whites mixed in. Friday the color didn’t matter at all. But they didn’t like a larger profile or jig weight. 1/16 oz was the perfect size. Today I discovered that only bit I could get was on blue shad colors. Some in 8 fow and 2 foot down. Some in 20 fow at 8 feet down. There are hundreds of bait balls and schools in every cove and channel bends.
