nice work. we were out yesterday and it was pretty tough. we had joked about trying to single jig way deep in the brush like that but didnt actually give it a shot, looks like we shouldve.
We camped at Cedar Ridge last Wednesday and Thursday - fished about an hour and a half on Wednesday afternoon with not finding many fish. Pounded the banks most of the day Thursday and it paid off with a pretty nice double limit for my wife and I. Most of the fish were pretty tough to get at - you would literally have to stick a 10 or 11 ft jig pole thru the brush, with the jig pulled up to the end eye and let it fall about a 1 1/2 ft on to the base of the ironwood. Caught a few fish out in front of the brush but not many. We cut our trip short and left Friday morning headed back to Fayetteville Ar. Before making our trip I talked to a couple of crappie.comers about Stockton conditions (thanks beagleman and daydreamer)

Still looks like a good mess
give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime
Nice
That's how I love to fish when they are in the thick brush. Pull jig to tip of long pole and drop them down! WTG that's how you getrdone!
