But the new regulation book still says only 15 and has the 9” limit

Just think now you can measure 15 over 9 and 15 under 9 . The game warden is going to be pulling out his hair !

The regulation change was approved and finalized a week ago. The regulation may not be reflected in the printed booklet until the next printing. It should be reflected in the wildlife code on the Secretary of State and MDC website soon, and we will be changing the creel signs at the lake today or tomorrow.

That is exactly what I was thinkin! Heck it seems to be a struggle for me keeping track of how many I have with the 15 over 9"! Lucky for me, I won't keep anything under 9" anyway or I would have issues trying to figure that out! lol

I'm thinking we might see more live well checks this year, which don't bother me, agent just doing his job. Hopefully people will see the signs at the ramp, I know some can't see them at the bird refuge, seen several idiots blasting up through there in December. Thanks MDC, hope this works to bring the Ville' back.

If you don't keep under 9" fish the limit is still 15 crappie

Or if like Joedog you'll never worry because if he's lucky enough to catch 30 (which I highly doubt) they'll ALL Be Under 9"

I should be able to manage 30.

After 9 or 10 trips!
