Just had to get out after those crappie, didn't ya. Congrats.
Slip corked minnows in the lower to middle Gravois 6 to 8 feet down in deep water. I had eight before the sun came up and the bite slowed down but I pulled 15. There must have been another weekday tournament because I've never seen so many bass boats on a Thursday. Two of them buzzed me so close I could of gave a high five. I was outside Bouge Bay putting my gear up and one of them blew right through a no wake. Water Patrol was johnny on the spot and lit them up. They were running so hard and didn't even realize what was going on.....I lost sight of the lights and WP still didn't have them pulled over yet. I was just glad to see one of those "I'm fishing a tournament get the hell out of my way" guys get pulled over...made me laugh

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
Good job!
