Thats great
My wife and I took the boat out for a while on 10/18. The Crappie didn't seem to want to play so we were heading in and the alarm went off on our Mercury 60hp four stroke. We nursed it in and got it on the trailer. All the way home I am thinking 'there goes the fall Crappie fishing for us'. At 10:00 AM the next morning I called over to the Bass Pro service center about 3 miles from my home in Columbia, MO. and left a voice message. 15 minutes later I get a call back from the service manager. I told him the story and asked him if they could read the codes for me. I had already had it in my mind it would be a couple weeks before they could even think about getting at the codes, let alone getting the issue fixed. He said to bring it over and they would take a look at the codes for me. I was there by 10:45 and by 11:00 they told me that it was a water pump / impellor issue. They had the parts and I could have the boat back in a couple hours! Did I hear that right? By 2:30 PM our Lund was sitting back in the garage waiting for more fall Crappie fishing!
I asked the service manager about the quick turn around and he said that most of the boats in the shop were there being service before winter storage, but in my case he knew I would be using the boat.
Many times I read the forums and see complaints about poor service. Not the case here and I think the Bass Pro in Columbia went above and beyond!
Nope, not a hockey player!

Good for them. Not all repair shops are bad.
