I have some I've tied. A bit of a new B at it but give them a try when I do get a chance to get to the water fishing...

Have a handfull that gotcrappie gave to me, one of my most prized possessions.
Everyone says that they catch fish. I have went fishing with only jigs, (no natural bait), and have fished them at all levels in the water all day, with and without scent, and left with what I took to the lake and nothing else. Maybe I wasn't holding my mouth right or something, not sure. I still try to catch fish with them every time I go, but I have learned to always take some type of natural bait with me when I go. Be it worms, minnows or crickets, I always have natural bait.
Could be when ever I was taken as a kid, that's what dad used was natural bait. And when you go when he goes, and only then, there's not much opportunity to use much else. He was in the Marines, and was stationed in the desert a lot, so not many places to go fishing very close at all. When I got old enough to drive, it wasn't to long I went into the Military myself. I have used spinners and crank baits with regular success, but wasn't targeting any particular type fish, just what ever was biting. Now after catching and having ate some crappie, that's what I'm targeting. Still catch other types of fish, just not as often. And momma says if it's legal size, bring it home and it will get cooked...
