got up early and headed to the lake, Stockton Lake as it were. the first brush pile was good, lost 4 at the side of the boat, and put 9 in the live well, was moving to a new spot and see a school of shad away from the brush tossed a jig and let fall, caught two more, good day for sure. home early. 22 ft of water, glow chartreuse jig, 1/32 oz jig. fish were on top of the brush for the most part. just drop into the brush and when you see a stop, start reeling up, caught a couple pitching and let fall, Not as good as Rick Flint on that but he showed me a thing or two last summer and I remembered how to do it, after 9 AM it warmed up so I took a boat ride and looked for brush, found some. marked same. The new batteries worked great. plenty of torque now.
