Might have come up with a boat name due to this thread. JADA!

Thanks for the warm welcome back. Time to fill the freezer. I am officially at ZERO in my crappie reserves.

    Any lake updates are appreciated.

Default Guess who might have a new boat by next weekend.

Now I need to figure out how to get a finders fee out of Gordon. Surely I could get a fishing trip with him in the new Ranger 198P for finding him a deal. Gordon I think you will really like the boat.

If I don't, I appreciate that "money back" 12 month guarantee you gave me.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

I would love to upgrade my 188 to a 198 for a little extra speed. But I really like the no boat payment part of my 188. I know if I got in yours the paid off boat in my garage would get replaced. So maybe I am better off not getting in yours Don't forget to give us a report and some pictures of it with some crappie slime on it.

That is one SWEET ride. Holy cow it jumps out of the hole and about 60% throttle is all I need. (not that it is all I will use) Quiet too... my farts are louder. It has so much space, I'm still looking for the galley and head.

Hopefully you can teach it to catch fish, the former owner didn’t do it justice.

I'll catch you sometime for a ride in it. If you keep yours below 60% it would be like mine with the 115 hp. There is times I would like to have the extra 40%. But I know spend less on gas in a year than what I use to spend on oil in my last few boats. That and mine fits in the garage with very little room to spare and I have no payments on her. Not that I have not tried to talk the wife in to a detached garage for a larger boat.

Have you started yet when it was already running? Or be fishing for 15 minutes and hear something funny and realize you never turned it off? If not your time is coming Guess who might have a new boat by next weekend. Super quit and smooth running motors. Enjoy it buddy because it's a beautiful rig.
