    Ken, Yes it is odd how a lake can change so quickly. Truman lake with its 2 main arms the osage and grand. One arm maybe better one year and the other arm better the next year. Or the bigger fish are round the spring, but are good hiders in the summer and fall. They are out there some where, the key to just to finding them.

    The limit on Shelbyville is only 10 crappie per person? Wouldnt have thought it would be that low. I thought Missouri had the lowest creel limit with 15 on the major lakes.

    That just means with a 10 fish limit in IL that us from MO will back in so much earlier kicked back in the shade drinking beer.
