*whew*!! Roughly 450 boats?! That's a lot of traffic. Big lake and spread out, but still....

(I'd have skipped posting the phone numbers, though. Just my opinion.)

Maybe that was what I witnessed several years back (perfect storm of tournaments). I'm not knock'n the event, but what I experienced back then was bonkers...most fishing boats I had ever seen that time of year, or any.

Default Crappie Masters - Lake of the Ozarks

That big bass bash the next week will put 1500 boats on the water. We had a fall camp during one of those and it was crazy. The Crappie Masters boats will be spread out from the dam area all the way up to around the 70 mile marker and they can launch from any ramp. The bass guys all leave with a blast off from the same ramp and run back to the same ramp at quiting time. That is the worst time with them.
Also all the Crappie will be released after weigh in. They have changed regulations on the size of cooler used for bringing them to weigh in to keep them healthy so they can be released. Mike the owner of Crappie Masters talked with some biologist to see what was recommend. So they have changed the rules that requires us to use a minimum of a 30qt cooler to keep the 7 fish in for transport to weigh in.

This is public data pulled form the Regatta site. Anybody can go on there and find it at any time.

You're right. Good point. Didn't know what I was thinking. No offense.
