Normally up in Plattsburgh on the river you can get on them when they are spawning. I would stop by Burton’s bait and tackle in smithville and he can lead you in the right path
My son lives up in Parkville that would like to know if there is any place he can chase white bass in the spring. He doesn’t have a boat so he’s thinking the Little Platte etc. He doesn’t mind walking a little bit and would just like some ideas of where to start.

The access at 240th under the bridge or C hwy. Usually pretty good.
A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
From an old movie I sawkeeferfish, Clownfish LIKED above post
The access at 240th has a rock jeti that is good sometimes when the sun heats it up. Another access just down the road at Springtown Rd, and if there is enough water the back end of Perkins Park in Plattsburg can be good.
I have been watching some videos on pre spawn white bass and they seem to catch them along the banks of the main lake. Looks a lot like crappie fishing the banks accept for the lures. I personally have only caught stripers fishing that way casting jigs for crappie but who knows.
