Default Table Rock Trip in a Month

A buddy and I are planning a trip to Table Rock in about a month with the original plan of hopefully snagging a few spoonbill. I know it may be a little late in the season for the spoonies so the fallback plan is to get on some crappie fishing. Were planning on trying around the Flat Creek/Bridgeport/McCord Bend area. Any locals out there that would know if fish, spoonies or crappies, will still be around in the middle of April? If so, i'd imagine we could find the paddlefish with side scan but any brushpiles people would be willing to share? We'd really like to snag some larger fish, that's why we picked Table Rock but if it's going to be a fruitless endeavor we'll settle for anything that swims. Appreciate any pointers you could provide, Thanks!

Also, how has the season been for everyone so far in the first 4 days?

you can download the MDC app and it has all the state pile on it, easy to download, and easy to use. if the water stays high the paddle fish will still be coming upstream in April, and the crappie will be there no matter what. they are sometimes hard to find, but I have always caught them in April up peach orchard cove and Bear den cove and all around the bridge up the flat creek, go for it.

Have seen some 90 lbers folks have caught. And the crappie bite is getting better by the day. From what i've seen looks like spoonbill season is off to a good start.
