Just gotta keep looking. Better luck next time. Thanks for the report.
Got out Saturday for the first time this year. Got a late start (about 11:30), met some guys taking out as I was launching. They told me they got limits right off the bank throwing the standard LOZ blue ice jig under a bobber set about 2' deep. They said some other guys right by them were slaying them too doing the same thing. So I was optimistic. I ran from Coffman down to the 2MM as they and some others had said they were catching them in main lake coves. I was on the water throwing every jig I could think of from the 2MM back to Coffman throwing at the bank, in deeper water, over brush, you name it. Tipped with a nibble, no nibble, under a bobber set a various depths, no bobber, etc.. Not a single crappie bite. I ended up with about 9 bass (4-6 keeps) and one medium sized bluegill.
Get back to Coffman and was talking to different people. Some said they had the same luck I did, others had multiple limits in a matter of a couple of hours doing the same thing I was doing.
I got out, had a good time, the boat still floats, the motor still runs, it was a nice day. I just wish I had brought home some fish. It's a good thing my family doesn't depend on my fishing to keep them fed.
Thanks for your report

That sounds like my outing when I head down to Loz Kyle. Saturday was a good day to be out.
Jared519, I headed down there with this kind of report in my mind, but when I got to the ramp I got different info. I tried both. Only difference was, I left the Gravios arm and went to the main lake which I almost never do. I had a nice boat ride though. Water was fairly calm and I got to blow the cobs out of the boat a little.
Yea I tried main lake the other day also with no luck

I didnt have any luck Saturday either, but at least we got to get out right? :D
I'm going to take a picture of my boat and put it as my avatar, that way, when you see me on the water, you'll all know its me and can swing by, say hi and tell me what the heck I'm doing wrong.
