    Default north mo.

Went to 2 different little state lakes on Sunday.Started early witht he cold front really hitting hard. Didn't do much good, two nice big Bluegills, and two ten inch Bass total. Still it was good to get out. Water was 46*-50*, just no Crappie biting. Tried deep and shallow...

Anybody else ever fish Guy Park? I checked it out last year but I have never fished it. I have heard that they have decent bluegill.
When in doubt, set the hook.

I think Guy Park has an 8" limit of 8 fish on bluegill. That is what I heard. Could be wrong. Anybody know?

Guy Park is decent... It does have good bluegill, and a min size but the problem is its a small lake something like 40 acre. Still its nice to go there for an hour or two on week nights.

I have a problem parting with the nearly $100 to fish Smithville and then have to deal with all the idiots there... I mean on the ramps and on the water buzzing right by you when you are fishing. Then I haven't heard much good on the Crappie there either. I have a little angler and don't need the hassles.
