Doubt many wake boarders out today!
Thought I would get some input on this lake. When I look at it on a map, I am not sure I have seen that many boat docks on any other lake. Is there anywhere on that lake to get away from boat traffic? All I can picture is wake boat after wake boat running around driving me insane.
You need to go after Labor Day and before Memorial Day. Maybe.?

I live on LOZ year round. There are definately times when the lake is rough, but most of the time you can find quiet coves
to fish. LOZ is a great fishery, hope you can give it a try sometime.

The upper end of the lake does not see near as much boat traffic. Like jcherky said there is plenty of coves and other areas that don't see many pleasure boaters. You can fish anywhere on the lake early in the morning or at night and be fine unless maybe it's a major holiday weekend. Now if you fish the main channel during day in the summer time you better pack a lunch and make sure your bilge pump is working.

LOZ is great fishery year round. Up the Glaize or Big Niangua have less boat traffic in the tourist time of year. Plenty of large no wake coves to hide in during heavy boat traffic on main lake.
