Good info.
Ice melt, extra clothes, tow strap, rubber boots,
See if you unload after someone else the ramp could freez up pretty fast, Or the dock could have skim of ice on it, Jiggin 15 carries ice melt for the ramps, and so do I and so do most others, but there are a few that don't winterise. take a minute to think of what could happen and then fix that problem, I carry extra clothes in the boat, the truck, ice melt in the boat, so when I get out and the dock is slick, toss a little next to the boat and wala no fall and break hip, (mike). carry fire starter stuff, like wax coated matches, cell phone or marine radio, think before you die, or better think so you don't die....

Great info Beagle. Can’t be too careful in cold weather. I might add make sure you have a means to get back in your boat if you fall out. I also keep my Terrova remote attached to me in case I can’t get in the boat. I can still hang on and troll over to shallow enough water to get out

Amen Beagle! Great reminder for everyone.
wise advice beagle!
This reminds me of what happened to Hogster. He took a dip in cold weather and could not get back in the boat. He went around to the outboard motor and used the power trim as a way to get back in the boat.
