Thread: Cat fishing slowing down at Smithville

Thursday , put in North of W at the MECCA gravel boat ramp. Caught 9 , nice size channels, water was 49 degrees, little windy, chilly, fish didn't start biting until a little after 2 p.m. Brought X large minnows from 40 Woods bait shop in Blue Springs.

Nothing wrong with them. Congrats

15-20 ft down, shad were 7.5-15 ft down.

tried fishing for Crappie, too windy to hold the boat still, catfish came off of noodles, NOT poles.

, Kinda , Northeast of there, fished the stumps and trees Southeast of Mecca, 50 yds from ramp
