    Default LOZ Report-9/6/17

Just caught another nice limit dock fishing today at 4mm. Still using bullfrog Slab Buster with red sparkle niblets. Darn things really seem to work. Bite is still really soft, lots of time they are swimming off with it. Fish were in 25-30 fow about 10-15 ft down on slow retrieve. You really do have to watch your line. It is a different type of bite right now. Fish were all fat and healthy. Did not catch one short all day. I started at 12 pm and was finished by 1 pm!

For whatever reason it is the only color I use now. Seem to have good results. I get them at Fitz's Tackle in Osage Beach.

One of the sliders I use is colored like that. I've fished some farm ponds where nothing else worked.

i love them blood red plain colored jig heads. they are killer on farm ponds around these parts. like shooting fish in a barrel, have never done it but it seems easy. hahaha
