    Default CRANKING LOZ 7/15/17 - 7/16/17


    Man what a blast was had by all this weekend! Trolled crankbaits at LOZ with a very good friend of mine and his son! Saturday we zoned in on em fishing 25-36 fow with 110 foot of line out using bandit 300's. Ended the day with 19 good ones! Had 4 fish right at and over 15". Also managed 6 catfish one of which was bumping 10lbs!!! Came back to the same area on Sunday and did not do so well but did catch 9 keeper crappie and 3 catfish! It got hot and we had 4 kids n the boat (5yrs, 4yrs, 7months, 4 months in age). Went to a dock that evening and caught 9 more nice sized crappie vertically jigging 1/16th oz white/chart jig skirt. The kiddos had a blast and so did everyone else! Beautiful area up there n Missouri guys! I am so jealous!!!! THANKYOU Crappie.com for the help with managing new to me waters!
