    Default Night time recommendations


    Looking to take the boat out for some exercise today and bring the lights for some evening fishing. We have not tried this approach here yet and was wondering which lake would you recommend, Truman or Stockton this time of the year? Recommendations greatly appreciated...

    Every time I have night fished on Truman it's been a lot of fun bring LOTS of minnows always catch a bunch of shorts. Can almost always catch them below the damn in the old channel or if they aren't running much water or none off the rocks in the main channel just casting jigs to the bank. Can't say for Stockton have only been there once.

    When you refer to the old channel, are you coming up from LOZ/ Warsaw or form Tebo creek side?

    Yeah from Warsaw I usually put in at the ramp below the dam and out from the boat dock by the no wake buoy is always good you'll see the balls of shad there is also a little hump out from the ramp that usually holds a few. The dock across the from there is good to.

    Caught an unbelievable number of 8 inch fish. Managed a few keepers after treating the boat to a new set of trolling batteries. Beautiful night out otherwise...
