I think there was a spawn but the fish were so far back in the bushes that they were uncatchable. The fluctuating water couldn't have helped but hopefully some of them got the job done. The fish I've caught over the last couple of weeks on The Hill have had eggs but almost all are small, immature eggs.

I did hear word from the guy who manages lake that he had never seen it doing so well for each class of crappie and things should continue. but as always, we shall see. after having figured out the winter thingy, now have to get the summer thing going there.
