    Default Smithville April 28th

As bad as the weather was friday the crappie were still bitting shallow on the banks, up to about 9 pm. Fished from 7 to 9 with only 10 keepers but after sunset the bigger fish disappeared. Caught dinks almost non stop after that. Black and chartreuse seemed to be the lucky combo, but minnows worked better. I was always told that cold fronts kill the bite!
    More to come next week!

Glad to see you still have a sense of humor Billy. Don't go to that lake so you can have them all to yourself. See you at camp you all be safe driving down.
