On Truman does,anybody do the gging with just jigs and bodies?

I was just there from Michigan last week. I caught most of mine on jigs and bodies. Plain unpainted heads with 2.5" white twister tails. Almost all my fish came out of water less than 2' deep up against the banks. My best luck came from the bucksaw area as this area had better visibility. Which was what I would call heavily stained..only had approximately 6 inch's of visibility. Other areas like Sparrowfoot, little Otter creek and Cooper Creek. Had muddy conditions with only 3 inch's visibility.

havn't used minnows for several years as there isn't reliable source near my home lake and really catch em just fine without. Tho my FAV is a jig body and minnow trailer.
