I fished the LOZ BFL Saturday and tied for 64th place in the co angler division out of 178 entries. I only had 6lbs 6oz on two fish, but was just one more good bite away from cashing a check. I was very fortunate to have a great boater who took 7th place and taught me a lot, at least I was a good net man for him. I was struggling and after he got 5 fish he let me borrow his spare Alabama Rig and it didn't take long for me to boat two nice ones. But it was to late the bite really faded and my partner got most of his fish in a flurry around 11 o'clock. I was very impressed with how the tournament was ran and I plan on fishing more. The only thing I wish they had is a live release boat instead of dumping hundreds of fish at PB2. The results were insane, you needed 19 lbs plus in the boater division to make the top 10 and almost 17 pounds just to get your money back.

That had to be a good time. Every cast counts. Thanks for the report.
