I heard they had about 70 trees cut, and we got all of them placed. Not only trees were planted this year, tho. In addition a lot of pvc structures were placed. Can't wait to see how those do. There were about 50 volunteers.Originally Posted by wolfhnd

I would like to thank everyone that helped out with Smithville's 6th Annual FISH Day. The weather finally gave us an opening and we made the best of it. We had a great turnout with over 50 volunteers showing up to help this year, even after we had to reschedule!
We had 4 habitat barges running and we went through 100+ trees that we turned into approximately 60 brushpiles. Once I get all the GPS units back, I can download all the points and give everyone the exact number of brushpiles installed.
Thanks again to everyone that helped out! I really do appreciate it! If anyone has any good pictures please share.
