Dang son that's 3 good ones...yours,your son and his fish.Nice job dad!
Had my son all day and I was thinking how to keep him entertained, so we headed out to a private lake in Russellville. Didn't take long for him to get his first ever "all by himself" bass, then I got a real surprise. There's a lot of bass in this lake but the biggest I've caught is around four pounds. Wacky rigged Zoom finesse worm on a drop shot and I also used a spinner bait for a bunch more. The boy went back and fourth between fishing and collecting shells.
7 pounds even

If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
Always good with kids.
I knew you couldn't take looking at those fish pictures and sitting at home. Congrats on a nice father son event.
LSL it has been rough my boat has sat for almost two months. It's been this, that, or the weather every day off. I just want that bass when the Big Bass Bash rolls around!

Nice to see kids smile with a fish. Yours was nice too. Thanks for the post and pics.
Hey does Mrs. Jungmeyer know your fishing his pond?
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
