    Lil Baby I go sometimes at 11 AM and still catch crappie, not as deep as the early times, seems they come up as the sun gets higher, never did like to go early, I will , I just don't like it and I am cranky rest of the day,,,,

    I like sleeping in and letting the sun melt the ice off the ramp in the winter months .

    That is true the suns can make those fish suspend especially on a lake with not many docks. I gotta go early and get back in time to get some housework done, the Mrs does all the cooking so I have to make myself worthy in other areas
