Nice!
Tuesday: Bass fishing sucked, nuff said
Wednesday: Met up with my long time friend Bo and launched at Coffman Beach. Method of the day was shooting the breeze, little bit of political talk, little bit of women talk, and discussing future plans (my plans were just to fish the next day). We tight lined minnows in deep wells and went through about 60 fish to get two limits. I was feeling generous and gave Bo all the bounty and we agreed this trip was long overdue.
Thursday: I launched solo at Coffman Beach and it was on from the jump. Slipped corked minnows on two docks and limited out in a little over an hour. Much better fish today with a few toads. Messed around for three more hours and caught a bunch more. Docks with big swim decks and shade were very good. The fish were hitting better on the bank end of the docks so jet ski cut outs were productive. I was fishing deeper docks 8 to 10 feet down. This time of year I really like slip corking with a long pole for the depth control and the bobber really extends how far you can get into the well. Most of the fish didn't take the bobber under..just swimming sideways or taking it halfway under. If they don't hit within a ten count I move on or maybe try another part of the dock depending how big it is.
Nice!
So long as you weren't talkin' political women, it sounds like a good day.
Thanks for the report and pics. Looks like you got em figured out.
Sounds like a fun 3 days

Good job. Sounds like a fun 3 days.
Sounds like a good couple days.
That boy gonna soft up those fish with that bat or what? LOL
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.springhillwantabe LIKED above post
Good time had for sure congrats.
That's not like you on the bass fishing. Congrats on the crappie fishing. Looks like some nice ones there.
Good looking catch there ole boy!
If we did what was most important in life there
would be a shortage of Bibles.................and fishing poles
