Thread: LOZ 10/01 On Fire

WOW, at least you reacted quickly and got it under control before it became a larger blaze! Sorry to hear about the bad luck, that is always a tough day to go through.

I think it was the power trim wires that shorted and fried the power trim box thingy (I think) on the side of the motor. Apparently whatever dealer put the motor on the boat didn't put a fuse on those...

Hopefully nothing else shorted too, but then there's also the mess of wires I tore out in a panic.

I may come down Saturday to do some house work, but will try to see if I can get the boat running - I don't really need the power trim. Let me know If you're in the neighborhood. If my boat works we can take it out, if not I'd be very grateful to hop on with you and see if we can get on some.
