    Default Bucksaw Area Help


    hello,

    I was wanting to take my Dad down to the Bucksaw area and do a 2-day trip and stay at Bucksaw Marina. Just wondering if anyone has any tips on how the fishing is and the best time to go. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    I would hire a guide {Jeff Faulkberry or Richard Bowling } they will put on the fish crappie or cats

    Look at long polers post they have ben doing pretty darn good down from bucksaw. good luck.

    I suggest read lots of the post the last few weeks, folks been catching crappie up and down from bucksaw, on trees / brush , dipping and spider riggin too, the guys at the marina always gave me good advice on where the fish were biting,,, good luck,

    Go right out of Bucksaw and fish the trees right in the mouth of the coves……if you don’t catch them on the first tree keep moving, you will run across them eventually.
