For a guy that doesn't fish Mark Twain that's not bad at all and with the lake being 10' over. Went yesterday and could not believe how clear the lake was. Caught a lot of fish mostly short but had a great time, 10-12 ft down minnows
    I Don't Know,but I can always use help

Glad to see our lake managed to give a few up! She can humble a guy pretty quick.

It humbled many of the big teams Saturday. Some of the best anglers in the country that only had 2 and 3 keepers. That's brutal fishing. If we did not get all hat rain on Tuesday and Wed. there would have been some great weights weighed in. It really dirtied up the upper end's to the point they were unfishable.

Growing up fishing Twain, you get used to those conditions. This was earlier this summer.......take note of the chocolate milk we were fishing. Naturally it wasn't tournament day however, our best 7 fish weighed right at 9.5 lbs. Not the best day I've had on Twain, but it was a top 5 day for sure.

Ya I think if they had it this do in weekend after them fish have a week to adjust to that dirty water that moved in it would be totally different weights. I bet it would take 8 lbs to even get a check. It is a cool little lake. Fishes exactly like Truman.

It can be a lot like Truman, except the water goes up and down real quick, weather turns on a dime, and the spawn is one of the least reliable times of year to fish it. It's a tough lake. The guys who learn how to consistently catch fish out of it with its ever changing conditions tend to do very well wherever else they fish.
