Thread: Pulled cranks out of Coffmans Bend LOZ

Son and I found some fishes pulling cranks mad cow was the big winner with canary color the second. Bandits outfished the arkies but I think it is the color bandits I have verses the color arkies. Funny thing was just giving a good long cast plus a little slack caught most of the fish. No matter how we changed up the linecounter reels could we come up with a sure length of line out. It was fish here fish there no one place seemed to matter. The lake lice sure had the water stirred boat was a rocking really not good. Good time was had by both of us lost a catfish that took one of my bandits away I would have liked a look at. Left me with a clean cut line and 5-6 ft of slime. Think the count was 23 crappie 2 whites and 1 catfish kept. Lots of small bass and a few drum kept us entertained also.

When you hook a fish do you slow or stop to reel in? Do you pull in other lines?
