Flicker shads are awesome and I fish with whatever colors are on sale......Menard's sells Flicker Shads stock up and get the 11% rebate
Got the info on Bandits. But lets get some info on favorite size and colors of Flicker Shads. Paul and I were out today and the question came up. Starting to do a bit of this trolling for crappie thing and looking for tips. Only good tips.

I like the # 6 best but fish the little 5 when pushing and 7 late fall. Like Lil baby what ever happens to be on sale. Keep an eye on MillsFleetfarm site. They run some pretty good sales at times. Also look at the Storm Smash Shad. Very similar bait works good also.
I use about anything...
But mainly flicker shads in the 9 to 11' depth.
Natural in morning and bright colors later in the day.
Just seems to work for me.

I catch way more crappie on the bandits than the flickr shad. I run them in the same spread and most times they never get touched while the bandits are catching fish.
Arkie 350s for me

This may be stupid question but I'm going to put it out there anyway, I'd bet someone else is thinking about this too. I haven't ever pulled crankbaits for crappie before but the more I read the more I want to. My question is this, are you guys using the full size crankbaits or the smaller sized ones? I know I've seen Bandit 100, 200 and 300 in two different sizes.
Most of the lures being used are in the 3" range. Some of the flicker shads are longer. When I was up north we called it trolling and I remember some lures 6" long catching a crappie. We were looking for walleye but the crappie bit them too.
