Good job. The bridge is good for shade too. One time we were there and it was hot. Parked under bridge in the shade fishing minnows. Then the white bass came up and started going crazy. Pulled anchors and chased whites. When they would go down then head back to shade for crappie. Kept that up for a few hours. Ended up with 2 limits of crappie and 2 limits of white bass. That was a blast and a cooler full of fish. Also agents were checking everyone they saw n the water. They were amazed we had al those whites. I think they were surprised we had separate stringers and had them marked. Also asked about the size thing on the whites. I told him what it was and he had to look it up. Lol. That was several years ago when our mothers were still alive and we kept them in fish. When it became to hard for them to fry then we took the, fish already cooked. They both loved fish and it wouldn't take long for them to get eaten. Miss those days. 3 years for my mom and 1 for mother in law.

Don't fish Twain anymore but love the lake, down at Truman now. Used to get hassled by the agents there more than any lake I have ever been on. They need to patrol the parking lots for theirs and let the fisherman fish!

I haven't been checked by MDC in a few years now. Used to see them a lot but didn't mind getting checked because they were always nice and good to talk to. I like to see them keeping the dishonest people from ruining it for the rest of us.

Last weekend I was checked by a trooper while fishing. Real nice. I had my boy with me so it was a good learning opportunity for him on what they look for and why we need the safety gear in the boat. Today I noticed there were two tripper vehicles, one with a trailer. I am sure they run into some characters. We had a couple high dollar bass boats blow by us at 50+ mph while fishing a point. Could not have been more than 50 yards. Had another one come out of a cove we were pulling cranks across and had no courtesy for us at all. Maybe I just expect people to use common sense.
