Default Slow Monday on the Ville report*

Fished 10 to 3 today with 9 keepers. Very slow between keepers and fished every cove between W bridge and south end of lake. Pitching toward bank in 8 to 15 fow and hitting on fall. Tried every color I had in boat but acid rain caught most. 6 females with eggs still, but one was squirting when held. Hope there will be enough males left on the banks when the females drop their eggs. Name: 20160509_155704.jpg

Ditto. Workin' for fish is better than workin' for the man.

I've no fear that there are PLENTY of male fish in that lake to milt the eggs and tend the fry.

Even if they ARE all between 8-9"!

Went again today for 3 hours. 3 small keepers under 10". Couldn't even give them away at boat ramp. Water temp 69 after the rain and fishing 4 to 10 fow. And I thought Monday was slow, LOL.

I never do well in the afternoon it seems. I usually fish more around sunset.
