    Not a crappie but still impressive. From MDC today

    2lb 2oz Gizzard Shad 19 - 13/16" long Jan 8 2016

    It lacks the prestige of other, more "desirable" species, but I s'pose a record is a record.

    Don't see MY name in that book anywhere. I did hook into a monster willow one time, though.

    Dangit. If they allowed cast nets id have a chance

    Shad shouldnt attack grubs so he probably snagged it?
