Man oh Man, like them tough days,,NOT, but if it was easy everyone would do it and there would be no room for us die hard fishermen. congrats on the catch
Was tired of watching it rain sideways from the house so I figured why not hit the docks! It was super tough for myself. Fished about 4 hours and had 7. On a positive note, two were 12", two around 11" and the others over 10". If you moved your bait they wouldn't touch it. Damn near had to hit them in the head with it.

Catching 6 that size is better than fifteen 9" fish to me. Good job!
Good report to hear. Got a lot of vacation time to burn, so hope the weather allows me to hit the docks some time.
We all had worse days fishing. Seven is sounding good to me. Congrats.
7 makes a nice dinner...never been to Smithville but seems like it's more of an early to middle in the year lake or am I wrong?

Typically if it hasn't froze we would be smashing them right now. This year has been the worst fall I have had up there in 20 years.

Are you fishing on foot from the private, or the public docks, or are you in a boat?
Congrats ! I can't wait to get back on Smithville again ! It's been a while !
