    Default bank fishing at the end of april


    will be staying at the mill creek campgrounds on table rock at the end of april...will the bank fishing in that area be any good?? not looking to keep anything just wanting to wet a line while i'm down there...any help would be appreciated!

    Table Rock is a beautiful, deep, clear lake. I've never fished it, but they (whoever "they" are) say the crappie spawn deeper there because of the water clarity. I would have also suggested trout fishing on Taneycomo, but from the looks of the map, that might be an hour drive from your campground...lol

    I Fish that area at the end of April every year and should be able to catch bass from the shore but the crappie will be tough. Most of the crappie are caught in the James River area. You need a boat to get to where the corp sunk a lot of brush piles. You will have to check back when it is getting closer to that date.
