spider rigging, I like my rod tips about a foot above the water. Cranking, the back rods are horizontal to the water, the middle rods angled up a little and the front poles angled above the middle rods.
Ok now shopping for 6 rod holders.
Hills rod holders are looking very good for the price.
Comes in 0 to 5 degrees
Or 30 to 35 degrees
No way on the drift masters.
I would like adjustable myself without breaking the bank.
What degree is most common for cranking or spiderrigging?

Dont get the Hills. My buddy bought some an wants to sell an get HI-TECs. That would be my suggestion.
I was on his boat once and his had 2 holders on a rod. To adjust the angle you had to twist the whole rod which moved both holders the same angle. You couldnt adjust each one separately.

Ok I didn't buy the whole apparatus...
I'm just buying the holders themselves, and putting them on my apparatus.
Which isn't adjustable.
That's why I got the dual position rod holders with 3/8 thread.
I'll bolt them permanently to my bar.
This is my square stock that will slide into my rear seat post and I'll drill 3/8 holes and bolt them solid.
But stuck with about 5 degree or 35 degree which ever slot I put them in.
Well I will try them out for a while.
If need be I'll change them up.
Thanks for the info.
Manny, you take 20 bucks for that Anvil haven't seen one of those for a while. Nice work bench.
