Good seeing you all again. Had fun as always.
Was a tough day for us
Truman Lake 7-18-15. Dexter and I fished the tournament on Saturday. We Started out on Long Shoal, then Cedar Creek and finally above the power lines. We fished mostly cedar trees that were in around 20 feet of water, dropped line between 1o-13 feet down. Fished with jigs tipped with minnows. The crappie in Long Shoal area wanted the jig with no movement and wait for a couple of minutes which is hard for us to do. In the other areas the fish hit it right away if they were there.
Dexter did it again and caught the big ones in our boat. We kept trying to see were Wyatt was fishing but it is hard to keep up with them with that new boat that they have. Congrats to Wyatts dad Darrin for catching a 1.46 lb slab during the tournament. Sorry no pictures, we were trying to keep the fish in good condition with the water temperature at 85 degrees.

Feller sure knows how to look good in a picture, and one nice fish to boot! Congrats to all.

I forgot to mention that I was the winner of the non target fish with a 7lb and a 4lb blue cat. That put the 11 foot pole to the test.

Thanks for reporting. Had some friends and family up, went out on the pontoon. Didn't get a bite but only fixed for a short while. Swimming was on the kids agenda.
